Research supported by the Center for Right Wing Studies mini-grant program has been published in Qualitative Sociology. Tyler Leeds, a UCB Sociology grad student, studies conservative rural activists and their anti- and pro-state attitudes.

"Peter argues that not all of the agencies we’re discussing are on the same side. The FBI, he tells me, has its eyes on ending President Donald Trump. 'There is going to be a coup,' he says, before describing the foreboding flight of FBI helicopters over the White House, something he read about online and discussed with other members of the chapter. He was also keeping his eyes on the highway patrol, but he noted he had friends who were sheriff’s deputies. 'They’re heroes,' he says."
